Nigel attended Bryanston where he achieved A-levels in Biology, Chemistry and Physics and planned to study medicine but decided to pursue a modeling career after his mother entered him into a televised model search where he was a finalist and fell in love with modeling. Nigel's love for modeling eventually evolved into photography and is now a world-renowned photographer.(edit)
As of 2006, Nigel resides in New York with his wife, Cristen, and his son, Jack.(edit)
