A New York Post article from March 4th offered excerpts from a note sent by The WB's standards and practices department to Paul and Chris Wietz, producers of Off Centre about the content of this episode. "It is essential to reduce and/or modify the significant number of uses of 'penis,' 'testicles,' 'foreskin' as well as euphemisms for the same, such as 'your thingie,'" the memo said in part. It also ordered the exclusion of such references as "covered wagon," "unit," "turtleneck," "little fella," "anteater," "diddy," "cloaking device" and "my pig is still snuggly, wrapped in his doughy blanket". The Post said that WB officials had confirmed that the memo, which made the rounds of the industry, was authentic but declined to discuss it.
