Yesterday I happened to find a very impressive deal at my thrift store and it was the movie Fantasia and also the movie Peter Pan in the original video editions and I would like to know if the first editions of Disney videos are highly collectible? Because I've read that the original Fantasia video can be worth a lot of money and also does the condition of the movie boxes affect the value of Disney movies. Because the Peter Pan movie I got has a torn box,

Let me know if you find out anything,

I'd suggest looking around on websites like eBay to see whether they are particularly valuable (at least compared to the price at the shop). Think of it this way, if you can buy something for $10 and sell it online for $20, you're onto a good thing.

That said, VCR is a bit old and a lot of people have replaced them with DVD players and digital recorders. Apart from collectors I think most people would rather buy the DVD instead, even if it is a little more expensive.

I also found The Great Mouse Detective on video in it's first edition a few days ago and I want to know if it's also a collectible Disney video. Because I have read that The Great Mouse Detective is rare to find because of the late Vincent Price's role in the movie as the character Ratigan is this true and do I have a collectors item?,

I recently found the Disney movie Bedknobs And Broomsticks in it's first DVD edition and I would like to know if it's also very collectible and would condition of Disney movies affect their value. Because my DVD copy of Bedknobs And Broomsticks is severely scratched and won't play on my DVD player and how would I replace it and would this affect the value of the movie?,

If you are collecting these videos for your personal enjoyment, good for you because they have absolutely no collectible value whatsoever. Check out E-Bay or Amazon or Disney collectible sites and see they are all under $10.

I also deal with finding items with collectible value and selling them for a profit and I can say with certainty that those tapes have no value whatsoever. Better find something else to invest your money in.
