You can't drink until you're 21, but you can be shipped off with an M16 at age 18.

So, this is telling me the government has to put more trust into you by drinking a single beer than protecting our country with heavy arms?

What is your opinions on age restrictions?

I was legally married one month before my 21st birthday; couldn't have a champagne toast. As we were living with my Father-In-Law, one day just a week or so laterI went to get us a hotel room so that we could have some privacy. I ended up having an over-21 friend sign up the room for me because they couldn't rent a room to someone under 21!

Needless to say, I'm all for age consistency!
