OK, everyone; let's see how original we can get with ideas for new TV shows! Here's mine:

It's a show about a health-concious cop living in one of the gambling capitols of the country. The name:

    ***SPOILER***

And coming up next on the surReality channel:

Hot Tops & Rock Bottoms - a privilaged insight into the gritty lives of highway construction crews in Arizona.

    Followed by:

Monkey Business - where discerning chimps road-test new products by aspiring entrepreneurs. The product that survives get a prize.

Then next week's News Headlines, followed by:

Wok Ewok - delicious and sizzling szechuan cookery courtesy of our furry friends from Endor.

    On the Discovery Channel:

Bad threads run rampant on TV.com as they violate the Rules of conduct. All new episode on tonight, on TV.com Revealed!

Seriously, I believe this would be a "Game" Thread which is not allowed, unless you break into discussion about the show ideas listed. For an example:

Ktfahel, your show sounds interesting. You don't hear too much about health-conscious cops because typically the image is of them eating donuts and drinking coffee. And the title is creative with the play on words, "Las Vegan," which the setting is in Las Vegas. Very clever!

That was my idea. I love puns (it's a family trait) and I couldn't resist. Besides...it COULD sell; look at "Monk".

"Hot Tops & Rock Bottoms" was a GREAT idea! I loved it!

I never thought of a tv show, but I've written a few book ideas.

Sounded like a Monk rip off to me, but hey.

I thought sounded like a random "History Channel" documentary.

ktfahel - Glad you liked it!

nmantzios - 'Geography' Channel, surely, being about rocks. I sincerely hope you follow up on your book ideas, and write them! Really! Get 'em published.

Okay, one last TV show idea: 'For Womb the Bell Tolls' - by Ernest Heming-No-Way. I guess it'll be one of those 'medical emergency' shows, but instead of road traffic accidents and physical assaults, it's about childbirth at inopportune moments or something!

The Citadel-An action-adventure/fantasy/dramedy series that looks into how a dark lord named Steve tries to take over the world. The show could look into the lives of the henchmen who always get beat by the heroes and look at why they chose to be henchmen. It could see why people have the desire to be evil and also show that not all villains are completely evil. It'll have monsters of the week being shown as more sympathetic and treated as having emotions, dreams, worries, and all that stuff that the old 80's cartoon villains from Saturday Morning didn't have. It'll also have wizards for some reason.

Hannigan High-A surreal high school comedy that shows a cynical teacher trying to handle school and other problems.

    Magical Fairy Universe Planet Space

I think you would get sued by Futurama for emulating our favorite space captain. But then again, Zap doesn't fight alone, so you may be in the clear.

And the title is catchy. Say that 10x fast!

You know there's a song by Barenaked Ladies that's one of my favorites, it's called "It's All Been Done"

-Lil Hussein=Lil Bush on Comedy Central
-Hagar the Horrible=Garfield, Dilbert, and Baby Blues, all of which are no longer on the air or rarely on the air.
-Metroid: The Series=Friggin' awesome, but there would be the critics that would say it doesn't represent the game, but I never listen to them anyways.

Yeah Lil Hussein would be a hell alot better than Lil Bush it won't use sucky animation or sucky writing and I just think it would be awesome to have a TV adaption of Hagar: the Horrible it hasn't been made yet and glad you like my 3rd idea.

Actually, Star Trek (TOS) could sue Futurama on the same premise!

No problem-o, I wouldn't worry about sucky animation in lil Bush because it isn't funny anyways and with the track record of comics turned into tv shows, it would be hard to convince someone to do a tv show of Hagar the Horrible, which my paper publishes, and almost got rid of but didn't since Bill Amend stopped making Fox Trot on a daily basis.

I have an idea for a new TV show!

It's gonna be about three guys and they keep digging in the ground non-stop for the whole show!! Thirty minutes worth of digging then at the end of each episode they find nothing!! But at the end of each season they find something really interesting like gold!!!

It will be the best show ever!!
