Omri Haim Katz was born on May 30th, 1976 in Los Angeles, California to Yoram & Rina Katz, who are now divorced.

His parents immigrated to the United States from Israel. While Omri was mainly raised in Los Angeles, his family moved back to Israel for a few years before moving back to the United States.

Omri's acting career started at the young age of 8 as an extra in 'Simon and Simon.' From there, Omri starred in hit TV shows "Dallas" as John Ross Ewing and after, the short lived series,"Eerie, Indiana" as Marshall Teller. He also appeared in several movies, but

… More he is best known for his roles in "Hocus Pocus," "Matinee," "Dallas: J.R. Returns."

When Omri starred as Marshall Teller in "Eerie, Indiana," he skyrocketed to teen fame and appeared on many magazine covers. Since the cancellation to "Eerie, Indiana," Omri has not had much success with his acting career.

Omri now resides in Los Angeles as a hairdresser.

i really loved his role in hocus pocus, many of the actors involved haven't been seen but it was definitely a great movie and omri then was quite handsome, can't quite say the same now...jaja just kidding hide show

well resuming what i said before i think omri was very handsome, he should have definitely continued in the show business, really, he has the attitude anyone would want for that matter, i guess some of these actors just try once and if they don't like it, byebye
it would have been also great for him to film other movies, not just go out as an extra whatsoever.
assuming i haven't seen him recently i can't say what has really come to him, i think i can only wish him the best, i hope he could read this, but i actually know he wont ... guess that's all for now ... kisses everyone.... :)bye

Omri was a talented child actor. hide show

Omri Katz was the perfect actor to play Marshall Teller in Eerie, Indiana. His acting was always spot on and never too "cute." I also saw him in Hocus Pocus, and he was just as good in that movie. As I write this he is 30 years old. We can only wonder what great things he might have done in the world of show business had he chosen to stick with it. As it is we can only wish him well wherever his life has taken him. Perhaps he's doing even greater things that may one day change the world.
