Season 4, Episode 10. hide show
Eh. This episode was OK. I didn't like the whole Keith being a ghost thing. I know it was only Lucas dreaming while he was unconscious, but still... I don't think One Tree Hill should have brought supernatural things to the show. Otherwise, Peyton and Brooke start to rebuild a friendship. It's great to see them finally friends again. I liked the whole "what if" theme of the episode though. The Gothic Brooke was a little weird... Peyton's death was a little weird to see. Thankfully, she didn't die in the shooting. Dan is finally in jail where he belongs, but not for the murder he committed... For the murder that he thinks Nathan committed. However, Daunte was obviously already dead.
Keith comes back to Lucas in a dream. He guides Lucas around and shows him what would've happened if Lucas hadn't made certain choices. Peyton would've died if he hadn't gone back into the school on the day of the shooting. Keith reveals a little more about his actual death. Dan is in jail. Nathan wants Haley to wake up. Peyton receives comfort from Max, the guy in the record store.
This episode was great! I was so glad to see Keith again! He is such a great character! It was a really inspiring episode! I give it a 9.5 out of 10!
Wasn't so fussed on this episode. hide show
Up until I saw this I had enjoyed every episode but this one was just so predictable. I managed to watch it through and I have to say I was pretty bored by it all. That's not to say the acting was bad - but all of this 'seeing real things in your dreams' bs has been done before and I felt pretty disappointed with the storyline. It felt like a re-run of the Christmas Carol lol.
Maybe I expected too much after the amazing episode prior to this one but I just kept on thinking how cliché it was.
In some ways it was good, with Keith back and all but I keep coming back to the same conclusion, it's all been done before!
I guess it was a bit too unbelievable. I know people can get premonitions in dreams in real-life but this just didn't really work. I think it would have been better for the girl who witnessed the shooting to have some involvement in making Lucas get a clue instead of having Keith's 'ghost' coming back and telling Lucas to 'open his eyes'
Yawn....
After the tragic events at Tree Hill Lucas is visted by Keith who tries to show him what the world would be like if he was a lesser person.Nathan worries about Hayley's condition. hide show
This episode was excellent!Keith returns in a powerful episode about life and death. It shows several peoples lives in danger(Lucas,Hayley)and it shows some real emotion and some tearjerker moments. The flashbacks of where Lucas is a lesser person really make you think about the small impact you may have made and how the smallest difference could have changed some ones life e.g. the gothic Brooke.James Lafferty makes a excellent appearance as Nathan worrying about Hayley as her life is in the balance.Dan also makes a great appearance as he also meets Keith in prison after taking the blame for what Nathan had done. It's also amazing how you see the love bond between Lucas and Peyton and how much she really loves him.
