The episode title "With Tired Eyes, Tired Minds, Tired Souls, We Slept" is a song off an Explosions in the Sky album titled "Those Who Tell The Truth Shall Die" The album title is especially true when looking at Jimmy. He was the most honest of his feelings on the time capsule that caused all these problems to begin. edit »
Rachel says that high school is only 700 days but, as is federally mandated each school year is 180 days which would be 720 days almost a month longer. edit »
The exact date of the shooting is up in the air as Jimmy and Keith's tombstone's have different dates of death, but if the shooting was in January like it says on Jimmy's tombstone than Haley would have most likely been almost five months pregnant. And if the shooting was in March than she would have already been nearly six months pregnant since she gave birth on graduation day in season 4. edit »
Keith put his hand over Jimmy's fresh bullet wound, which would have caused blood to run onto his hand. Wouldn't the investigators find it odd that Keith had Jimmy's blood on his hand if Jimmy shot him first? edit »

Brooke: No, I don't know! She was right behind me; we were by the library!
Nathan: Haley's in the tutor center.
Whitey: All students on the bus! Code red, now!
Whitey: Let's move! Come on.
Whitey: Nathan, get your ass on that bus!
Lucas: I got him, Coach!
Brooke: Luke!
Lucas: Look, I'll be right back. Nathan!
Whitey: Boys! Boys!
Nathan: Got off me, man! Haley's inside!
Lucas: Nathan!
Brooke: Lucas! Lucas!

Reporter: We're a country obsessed with tragedy, Brooke, so if examining tragedy makes me part of the problem, then so be it. But let me ask you something, how much time have you spent with Jimmy Edwards over the last 4 years?
(Brooke goes quiet and looks away.)
Reporter: So maybe I'm not the only one who should be ashamed.
(Brooke starts to cry but stops as someone approaches her.)
Glenda's mom: Brooke? Hi, I'm Glenda's mom, I was wondering if you'd seen her.
Brooke: I'm sorry, I don't know anyone named...
Glenda's mom: Glenda Farrel, She's in your class, she said you two were friends.
Brooke: Glenda! I thought you said Brenda..I'm sorry. Sure, I'll find her.
(Brooke goes outside to cry because she doesn't know who Glenda is.) edit »
Brooke: There are kids inside our school fearing for their lives right now. Terrified that someone is going to put a gun in their face and pull the trigger, and you wanna know how I'm feeling? Our pain is not a commodity for you. It's not a newsbyte to boost your ratings. Because tomorrow, or the next day, or the next week when WE go back to school, changed forever by a day that'll never leave us, where are you gonna be? At the next TRAGEDY? Thrusting your microphone at the next fractured person asking them how they feel? Lady, that is not journalism, YOU are not contributing anything to society. You are buzzards, circling the carnage, but you prey on the living. THAT is how I'm feeling. But something tells me you're not gonna air that.

(Reporter walks to face camera)
Reporter: I'm here with student council president, Brooke Davis. Brooke, Can you put into words how you might be feeling about this tragedy?
Brooke: You should be ashamed of yourself.
