can someone explain the ending too no country as it didnt seem to have one
Daniel Day Lewis you desrved
i was so hoping atonement would win. and it also deserved an directing award. i felt it was better directed than "there will be blood". and also for me viggo mortensen gave a much better performance than daniel day lewis. considering the oscars have been constant dissapointment for the past few years this was no surprise.
NCFOM, is the film with the worst plot ever, i cannot understand why it won the oscar. About Bardem winning the Oscar the only thing i have to say is that in spite of me being spanish I hate him for multiple reasons and i didn't want him wining, but i must recognise that his acting was absolutely brilliant!
My only shocker was that Tilda Swinton won for Michael Clayton, I didn't think she had enough screen time to win this award. People saying that, No Country, is the worst movie ever made... this is why we have films like Meet the Spartans, please watch and enjoy that instead.
I haven't seen No Country For Old Men and I don't plan to see it. What was the Academy thinking when the gave that film Best Picture. I'm glad to see Tilda Swinten get the best supporting Actress award. I have yet to see her give a bad performance. Marion Cotillard's win was a very pleasant surprise. Her win makes me want to see La Vie En Rose.
Sorry guys, but I am thrilled that Marion won. She's an amazing actress and not only in La vie en rose... Believe me! Bravo Marion! Tu le mérite amplement!
Love it!
damn. i wanted Ellen Page and Cate Blanchett to win tonight. oh well. theres always next year!
no country for old men sucks
Do not watch No Country For Old Men. It is a scam movie, with tons of fake reviews on IMDB paid for by the studio. (rumors are they sunk 85K into the fake reviews) THE LEAD CHARACTER GETS KILLED OFF SCREEN 3/4 into the movie then Tommy Lee Jones incoherenly babbles for the last 20 minutes. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
I Hope Ellen Page Wins and I hope Atoment wins.
Hopefully Atonement wins
Now the majority only has two awards right.
All you people who think Ellen Page should win are morons. Absolute Morons. Have you even seen the other actresses that are nominated?
I'm fer Juno.
dont really watch these shows but i like ellen page in juno!
I really am hoping for Johnny Depp, Ellen Page and Cate Blanchett
i want ellen page to win more than everything! but i just don't see it happening..the oscar people almost always go for the older nominees.
Ellen Page all the way! I Known Right.
