Paige Hemmis is an unlikely vision on a construction site. The statuesque beauty is an accomplished actress, businesswoman, and skilled homebuilder. She is dynamic, and confident, and she is currently ‘wowing' viewers as one of the lead carpenters on ABC's popular "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition." The Wisconsin-born, California-raised actress / entrepreneur is co-founder of Rent To Own Investments, a private company, which provides innovative solutions for families to purchase their first home. Rent To Own Investments buys houses, renovates them, and develops finance programs for tenants… More who cannot afford the steep down payment usually required to own. Paige is self-taught with no formal carpentry training and can rarely be found without a tool of some kind in her purse.

Paige grew up in Chatsworth, California with aspirations ranging from teacher to doctor to world traveler to wedding planner to building her own dream house. She attended college at the University of California Santa Barbara enrolling in the Theology and Psychology programs. Paige has been fortunate enough to experience many of the careers of her early childhood dreams. During college, Paige fulfilled her teaching penchant by teaching first aid and CPR to the UCSB student population. She became a licensed Emergency Medical Technician and pursued a medical internship in Virginia for another year after graduating with her Theology and Psychology degrees from UCSB. When Paige returned to California and accepted an International Sales Manager position for Iwerks Entertainment, she satiated her travel curiosity by serving territories throughout Asia, Australia and the United States for four years.

Feeling an entrepreneurial spirit, Paige pursued substitute teaching while developing contacts in the wedding industry. Paige launched Simply Elegant Weddings in 2001 and continues to assist couples with planning the happiest and most important day of their lives. The natural progression of helping couples plan the first day of their new lives led to helping families secure their first homes. Without deep pockets, Paige used her tenacity and resourcefulness to learn all the aspects of carpentry from drywall to electrical to plumbing. Today, Rent To Own Investments has successfully bought, refurbished, leased, and sold fifteen new homes to first time buyers - an incredible accomplishment in California's competitive real estate market.

Today, Paige is hard at work on her own Rent To Own Investment property, refurbishing it in between acting, wedding consulting, and working with a staff of over 100 sub-contractors on "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition". When Paige finds rare free moments, she enjoys dining out, hiking, and rock climbing and curling up with a good mystery book.

    I don't think there is a show on t.v that comes close to Home Extreme Makeover. The feeling you get every time you watch it is amazing. The tough guy that I am or think I am cries every time I watch it! I just wish there were more shows on t.v like this because this world would be a far better place to live in. Pay it forward!!! The best thing about this show is not only the help they give these families but the funny things they tie into each show that make it very entertaining as well. Ty you are my idol and Paige you are ridiculously cute! :)

    wow, all i have to say about Paige is how open and kind hearted she is! she is so respectful of other people, and is such a loveing and careing person. one thing i love about this show is how loveing and respectful everyone is to each other, you dont find that in many shows on TV today. anyways, Paige is great, i really wish i had an explination of why i haven't seen her opn the show lately. im going to miss seeing her pink hard hat and bright smile on my TV screen, and just the overall presents she has on the show.

    What an uplifing show and the personalities couldn't have been more perfectly chosen. They compliment each other so well. hide show

    You and the crew are fantastic. Your generosity, talent and genuine concern for the families that you help are overwhelming! It is obvious that you truly care about the families that you help and that you believe in what you and the team are doing. The fact that you add beauty to the show is just icing on the cake and I don't just mean personally, but the items that you build are amazing! You always pinpoint exactly what the family member you are helping needs and/or wants in their special space. Please keep up the great work you all do and I know that at least our household will continue watching as long as you are around....hopefully forever!

    Her boobs are really big. I love it when she wears tight shirts that show off her massive breasts. She makes the other women on the show look dwarfed. I would say her large endowment is at least a d-cup.
