Production assistant Mike calls Samantha to extend his bosses stay at Paradise Cove. His task complete he takes time to amuse his girlfriend Janet who complains about being bored. Amusement accomplished, Mike complains to Janet about Sid’s demands on his time. Janet suggests that he quit but Mike is too ambitious for that so she packs and leaves telling him that was breakup sex.
Mike’s boss Sid calls with a list of tasks which take Mike most of the day to complete. Last on the list, Mike is to deliver a completed script to Passion Cove. When Mike arrives at the beach house he notices an old VW parked outside and a broken lock on the front door.
Entering cautiously he picks up the nearest weapon and searches for the intruder. Instead he finds an attractive and scared woman. He assumes she is Sid’s girlfriend who he doesn’t know. She identifies herself as Mardi, tells him she was out walking and when she returned she found the door broken. Mike tries to ease her mind promising to protect her. Next he checks the safe, successfully opens it and finds a lot of cash that he assumes Sid is hiding until his divorce is final. Mardi tell him that Sid has left word that he was to leave the script and return to town.
Mike decides that with the broken lock on the front door he can’t just leave her alone so he offers to make dinner. Mardi and Mike eat dinner and Mardi tell him she is a professional masseuse. She offers to give Mike a massage in return for the dinner he has just served. With her hands touching him one thing leads to another and Mike endangers his job by touching back…over and over again!
When Mardi wakens Mike is nowhere to be found. Topless, she frantically searches the house for Mike and finds him reentering from outside where he was fixing Mardi’s flat tire. She begins making plans for the two of them but Mike is hesitant. He still wants to keep his job with Sid. Mardi is irate. She tells Mike that she thought they had something and now he wants to just forget what happened between the two of them. She goes to take a shower and the plans to leave. Mike joins her, they make love and afterwards Mike is ready to leave with Mardi. This time she hesitates. Neither of them have any money. Mike has a brilliant idea. They can take Sid’s money from the safe.
Mardi leaves first, planning to go home and pack. Sid will follow shortly. A Mardi drives away; and another car approaches the beach house. Mike is surprised to see his former girlfriend, Janet, arrive at the beach house. She is equally surprised to see him there. In a moment of clarity Mike understands. Sid’s secret girlfriend is Janet.
Janet sees the broken door and asks if anything had been stolen. Mike says nothing seemed missing. Janet asks about the wine cellar and leads Mike into the secret lair where they find Sid bound and gagged. Sid tells then some strange girl who demanded that he open thesafe attacked him. Checking the safe Sid learns he has been cleaned out. He is not heart broken and soon Sid and Janet are playfully wrestling while Mike leaves the beach house.
As he walks away from Passion cove Mike is discouraged, He has lost bout of the women in his life. One betrayed him and the other conned him. Then he hears the sound on an old Volkswagens. Her walks around a corner and finds Mardi waiting invitingly.
