    • Abigail Breslin: (on how she chooses her film roles) I guess I see if it's somebody I would like to know. • Abigail Breslin: I have terrible handwriting, actually. I'm not very good at it, so I type on the computer. The first time I saw a typewriter, I was like, 'Where's the screen?' and they said, 'There is no screen,' and I was like, 'What?'

    • Abigail Breslin: For a long time, I was really afraid of stepping on glass, so I wore shoes all the time, even in bed. I was also scared of getting bird flu, so I wouldn't go near any birds.

It was early!

    • Abigail Breslin: (about her fat suit in "Little Miss Sunshine") I had to wear padding, yeah. I can't say that I miss it. It was really uncomfortable. It was pretty funny.

It's kind of weird to be two different people, but I think that's kind of fun too. My mom always told me that the best way to learn is to watch and kind of learn from other people, so that's what I try to do.
