Abs was born in 1979 to an Irish mother and Turkish father. From a young age he showed an interest in performing and was enrolled at the Italia Conti Stage School. He auditioned for 5ive at the age of 17 and eventually went solo following their split.

    Abs was one of the funniest members of 5ive hide show

    Abs Breen was in my favourite band of all time 5ive. He was always entertaining on television and really enjoyed himself. He was as good as a solo artist and had teh guts to be the first person out of the band to go solo. He was always a pleasure to watch on tv and always came accross really well.
