Angus: Our lyrics are a bit like jokes. Any comedian can get a laugh saying "f**k". But the really funny guys are the ones who can get onstage and not use a dirty word, but you think they have. To me, that's clever.
(someone asks to Angus about Brian's voice)
Angus: Well, what you do is get a truck and drop it on your foot?
Angus Young :(about Thunderstruck) It was really just a case of finding a goo title. We came up with this Thunder thing and it seemed to have a good ring to it. AC/DC = Power. That's the basic idea.
Angus: We saw more of Bon than his family did, especially us three. It was always me, Bon & Malcolm. We hung out together. Go to clubs together, get thrown out of clubs together.
Angus: When we started, we didn't care about gettin on the radio and we didn't care what people said about us...We just went out and played rock music.
Malcolm: We've always been a true band. You won't find one any truer. AC/DC will always be AC/DC. Sometimes we'll do well, sometimes not so well, but the music of AC/DC will always be the same.
Bon: I can't even say the word, it's too early in the day to get upset.
Brian: I'm going back out there to try to scream again.
Bon: Whatever I do, you don't.
(About Chris Slade)
Angus: Chris was probably the best musician in the band. We hate to lose him, but getting Phil (Rudd) back is worth asking him to leave.
Angus: The trouble is, we can't play everything or we'll be onstage all night... and we don't wanna end up like Pink Floyd, growing old onstage!
Bon: It keeps you fit - the alcohol, nasty women, sweat on stage, bad food - it's all very good for you.
Angus: Style, I didn't think we had any! I just plug in and hit the thing really hard. That's my style...or lack of one!
Angus: I don't like to play above or below people's heads. Basically, I just like to get up front of a crowd and rip it up.
