As per site guidelines of having just 10 quotes per editorless person guide and my personal preference of having at most 15 quotes for all person guides I edit, I am transferring some of the interesting quotes previously found in the Quotes section of the guide. Adam: (referring to a scene in "The O.C. ") There's a scene me and Ben did where we're locked in the poolhouse and I get claustrophobic. And so this girl closes the door on me in the scene, and I actually got hit by the door and it really hurt. So when you see that scene in an upcoming episode, you should know it's for real.
Adam: (looking back on his "O.C." days) I sort of consider it as my college. I was there four years and I made friends that I will have forever. No matter what happens in my life, at least career-wise--highs and lows--I still don't think that I'll ever go through a change as drastic in my life as I did that first year of the show. And it's nice to have a group of people who I'll always know who did the same exact thing that I did at the same exact time.
Adam" (on what he's going to do now that "The O.C." is over) Grow the best beard I can. I've had to shave every day for four years, and I've never been more excited to not shave–I've dreamed about this. Granted, it'll be a pretty pathetic beard, but I'm going to give it my best shot. Also, I'm going to sleep in, read, see more movies, play more music, walk my dog and write.
Adam: (referring to "The O.C.") There's no conversation more boring than talking about what it's really like to live in Newport and how the show compares to the real thing. I just don't care.
Adam: I don't really have a favourite T.V. show. I hate The Valley! Hate it!
Adam: I love surfing and I've tried to convince Josh into letting Peter and I having a surfing scene in an episode of The O.C..
Adam: My favorite episodes of The O.C. are the ones where not much happens, where we take it down a notch. But I don't think the audience agrees with me.
Adam: Well, I guess most people would only know me from The O.C. I did a few episodes of Gilmore Girls before that. I was also a client on a lot of lawyer shows.
Adam: I love every emo bands and other types of music. It depends,like I love Death Cab and Phantom Planet and Coldplay.
Adam: I don't know anyone who's going to see Grind 22 times in the theater. My mom. Some kid who has short-term memory loss and forgot that he's seen it.
Adam: I always walked by [the VHS box] on the shelf and thought [of leads Freddie Prinze Jr., Sarah Michelle Gellar and Ryan Phillippe], those kids have it made. At the time, I thought I Know What You Did Last Summer was very cool, but it was more their lives that I wanted. And, like everyone, I was in love with Jennifer Love Hewitt.
Adam: (speaking of his pit bull terrier, Penny Lane) She's sweeter than any poodle, but she's strong and just won't heel. I do all the work. I'm the disciplinarian.
