Adam, Rutledge, and Tanner set out to find the best SUV in the country. They each choose their favorite and meet up on Pismo Beach in California before setting out on an epic journey that will take them through vineyards and desert, and then high up into the Sierras. Along the way their SUVs will be put through a series of themed challenges until one of them is ultimately proclaimed the best SUV in the country.

The guys are challenged to build the perfect car for the apocalypse. It has to be affordable, fun to drive, and be able to withstand a zombie onslaught. After a series of challenges designed to test their creation's performance, weaponry, and defenses, Adam, Rut, and Tanner are set one final task: to race across a deserted ghost town while avoiding the Post-Apocalypse Stig, who is in hot pursuit.

It's Adam's turn to take control of the show, and his first order of business is to teach Tanner and Rutledge to play football -- with an automotive twist. He then introduces them to his concept car designed to protect the driver from the most dangerous things on the road: other drivers. Lastly, Adam tackles the classic Le Mans race where Ford beat Ferrari and gets behind the wheel of the legendary Ford GT40, while an unsuspecting Rutledge finds himself driving the Ferrari.

Since it's commonly acknowledged that taxi drivers have one of the most challenging jobs in the country, Rut, Tanner, and Adam head to Las Vegas to create the ultimate taxi that will keep both driver and passengers happy. After riding along with some real cabbies the guys use their new found experience to each create their own taxis, and then put them through a series of tests before they hit the Vegas strip to see who can get the most tips. There is also a review of the newest supercar to come out of the UK as the McLaren MP4-12C goes head to head against a good old American NASCAR Cup car.

It used to be that you'd need a supercar to hit 150 mph. These days a new 30,000 dollar car will get you there, but what's the least you can spend on a car and still reach this epic speed? The guys aim to find out as they spend as little as possible on three used cars, putting them through their paces as they head towards the famous El Mirage dry lakebed to attempt to reach 150. The winner's reward is a drive in the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse -- the fastest and most expensive production car in the world.

Rut, Adam, and Tanner set out to find America's toughest, most un-killable car. They each pick the toughest car they can think of and then put them through a series of tests using shotguns, bombs, and a giant crane. The winner gets to go head-to-head against the U.S. military in one of the toughest SUVs on the planet.

The guys head south of the border on a spring break road trip through Mexico, driving the same model of car they did in college. To reach their destination, the party town of San Felipe on the Sea of Cortez, they first need to tackle the tough streets of Tijuana, as well as the treacherous mountain trails of the Baja Peninsula.

The guys set out to prove that you don't need an expensive 4x4 to go off road. Using three classic rental cars they attempt an epic journey through some of the toughest terrain in the country, from Monument Valley to Moab.

How far can you get on one tank of gas? The guys find out as they race from Portland, Oregon to San Francisco without being able to fill up. Whoever makes it closest gets the chance to drive the toughest off road machine in the world in a high-octane race in the remote Colorado mountains.

Could you own a classic car and not know it? Rutledge, Tanner and Adam each choose a car that they think is seriously undervalued and set out to reestablish its reputation, after which they're challenged to create a live commercial in San Diego and attempt to make money on their cars. The two losers have to entertain two celebrities in a crazy race in equally crazy vehicles, and it gets out of control fast.

Small cars work in the rest of the world, but what about in the US? The guys travel to Louisiana to answer that question by taking small cars out of their natural environment - the narrow streets of New Orleans - and venturing deep into Cajun Country, where they have to hunt and survive alongside the locals. Whoever does the worst in their small car is punished by having to drive the world's smallest car in their home town for a day.

The guys each buy what they believe to be the worst car in the states. Tanner nips over to England to see how fast a new super car, the Noble M600 (with no official top speed) can go.

The guys are set the task of constructing their own versions of their favorite Hollywood cars, after which they pit their creations again each other to see whose is best. Tanner drives the new Subaru Impreza WRX STi in a race against a biker. Steve Schirripa is this week's star in a small car.

After Seven Seasons and 92 Episodes, Rescue Me draws to a close. In the highly-anticipated series finale, after the fire, the guys struggle to pick up the pieces. The probies receive a familiar speech and stand before a new leader.

Adam and Rutledge are fed up with Tanner's driving prowess and decide to take him down a notch. They issue him a series of challenges they are sure he cannot possibly win, including drifting a bus, racing a real life Lexus LFA against a time set in a computer game around the Infineon Raceway, and breaking the world indoor speed record. Bridget Marquardt is the week's Big Star in a Small Car.

The guys buy $500 cars and race each other along the Pacific Coast Highway to San Francisco and Twin Peaks. Rutledge reviews the Cadillac CTSV, pitting it against a Ferrari California, and Adam Levine stops by the Top Gear test track.

Tanner, Rutledge and Adam journey to New Jersey to buy the most luxurious cars they can find for $5,000, after which the guys head for the Hamptons, where they try to pass off as locals in their new purchases. Tanner races the new 911 GT2 through downtown Los Angeles at night, and Arlene Tur takes a lap around the Top Gear test track.

Tommy has his badge revoked after his latest outburst goes national. Sheila's attack affects Tommy's biggest critics when they aren't looking; which ends up freeing Tommy and clearing the Gavin family of all negative association.

The guys take it to the mountains to find America's toughest truck, Tanner races a new off-roader against an air-boat through the Louisiana swamps, and comedian Bill Engvall is the week's Big Star in a Small Car.
