They each choose their favorite and meet up on Pismo Beach in California before setting out on an epic journey that will take them through vineyards and desert, and then high up into the Sierras. Along the way their SUVs will be put through a series of themed challenges until one of them is ultimately proclaimed the best SUV in the country.
