He directed his father (Leonard Nimoy) in the new "The Outer Limits" episode 'I, Robot' which is a remake of the orginal "The Outer Limits" episode of the same name that also starred his father.
He worked in the late 1980s as a copyright lawyer, helping clear copyright samples for artists. It was because of his relationship with his dad that Information Society got clearance to use Star Trek samples in the recording of their #3 hit, "What's On Your Mind", in 1987.
