Adrian Paul

He was best known to me as Duncan Macleod from the TV series Highlander. I later saw him in the short run of Tracker--and after that I watched him in season 2 of the TV series War of the Worlds. He can be very inspiring--and his Martial arts history makes watching me in a movie that calls for it, a pleasing alternative to boring actors like Jean-Claude Van Damme.



Some of my favorite movie I have seen him in are: Nemesis Game, Dead Men Can't Dance, The Void and Convergence. He was, of course, outstanding in Highlander: Endgame. The martial arts and sword play done in this movie was outstanding and some of the best I have seen.



Two new movies due out in 2007 that should be very good is "Lost Colony--which will tell a rather scary and haunting story behind the disapearance of the Colony at Roanoke--and Highlander: The source, which should prove to be a close to one era of the Highlander saga, and the beginning for yet another.

There is nothing I don't know about this man! (Don't worry Adrian - I am not a stalker. Just someone who is very intrigued by your philosphies on life, your capacity to help others and the way you give time so generously for so many worthy causes - and all without the usual fanfare. I am also deeply impressed that you manage to keep so much of yourself and your life private. This says a lot about you as a person).



I do think Adrian should have been a bigger star. He has the lot - looks, talent (he can dance and fight with the best of them) and intelligence - but he has starred in some real turkeys. Sorry to say it Adrian. Bad scripts even worse dialogue. Not even a dreamboat like Adrian Paul can rescue a truly diabolical project. And that's a problem. As stated, Adrian has starred in many a turkey and some members of the public seem to think this means he is a bad actor. But he isn't. He is a good actor who has had the misfortune to star in more than his fair share of dreadful programmes.



Some of his best acting has been delivered throughout the Highlander series. There were some truly tear jerking moments (Tess and Ritchie's deaths) just as there were moments of real comedy (almost all his scenes with Roger Daltrey). Adrian also brings a lot to the Highlander francise. For the first time you get a sense of what it must be like to be immortal. You learn about his character's values. Although he must take heads, he plays by the rules and does not kill gratuitously. He has befriended other immortals when others would have been beheading them.



I believe that Adrian has brought a lot of his own values to the role of Duncan MacLeod. And thank God for it! "There can be only one" and as far as I am concerned, that's Adrian Paul.

I loved Adrian Paul as the Highlander and that he

Is so talented as well as also very, very, charming

But also a total hunk. Love his British accent as well

As his acting and also he is just so talented and can act

Not just an action star. But he's into the martial arts.

Hope he gets another great show!

adrian paul has been a fovorite of mine ever since highlander the series was on the air. i watched it religiously , i used to tape it and watch it over and over again . i even got my parents hooked and both my sisters as well

it was quite amusing to them to see how gaga i was over this lovely gentleman.



all i want to say is that i wish him the best in his life and that may the divine continue to bless him ,the world is a far better place with people like him in the world.
