    • Akemi has appeared in only one radio drama, Evary Key in "Gaia Gear".

    • Akemi is the youngest of the eight main seiyū in the popular anime One Piece. The closest to her age is Kazuya Nakai, born in 1967.

    • From the end of May 2001 until early September of that year, Akemi took a leave from her voice acting roles. On the popular series One Piece, she was replaced by Wakana Yamazaki. She returned, and has since done many other voices for anime and video games.
