Alan Blumenfeld, an American character actor, was born September 4, 1952. Blumenfeld began acting when he was seven years old. After high school graduation, Blumenfeld went to Sarah Lawrence College, and later received a Master of Fine Arts degree from the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, California. He is best known for his performances in the films The Ring, Righteous Kill, WarGames and Jason Lives: Friday the 13th Part VI. Other films that Blumenfeld appeared in include In Her Shoes, Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star, Jingle All the Way, After Romeo, The Elder Son and How to Be a Hitman. Blumenfeld has also appeared in several TV shows including Heroes, Felicity, Grey's Anatomy, JAG, Gilmore Girls, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Cold Case, Without a Trace, Dirty, Sexy Money, and Jane Doe: Ties that Bind. In 2011, Blumenfeld stepped behind the camera as an associate producer on the 2011 dramatic film Part Time Fabulous.
