  • A legend on the football pitch still on our TV screens working for the BBC.

It's great to still be seeing big Al on our screens. He hung up the boots once and for all last May, but has since been working for BBC as a pundit on shows such as Match Of The Day, or during special FA cup or England matches. He was also in Germany last summer for the British tv network.

He scored over 90 league goals in 3 consecutive seasons guiding Blackburn to the title in 1995. Captained his country for 4 years, and in 96 at the peak of his talent went back to play for his home town club Newcastle United. Legend.moreless
