This talented baseball player was born on July 27,1975 in New York. He started his career playing shortstop and wearing uniform #3. He has played for the Mariners, Rangers and Yankees. Alex graduated from high school in 1993. A-rod now wears uniform #13 and plays 3rd base.

His career began by being drafted number 1 overall by the Seattle Mariners in 1993. After about 6 months in the minors, he was called up to the bigs in 1994. His first full season was 1996 and he made the all-star team and finished just one vote shy of being named MVP. After 6 very successful

A-Rod by the end of his career will perhaps be considered one of the top 10 players to ever play the game.

    Love this guy. The best third baseman in baseball. hide show

    Alex "A-Rod" Rodriguez is a powerful third baseman that plays for a great team The Yankees and they are my second favorite after the Cardinals. People dont like this guy and say hes talentless. Well lets see hes the youngest person to ever hit 300, 350, 400, and 450 home runs. If you want to see overrated take a look and the mets third baseman David Wright hes terrible. A-Rod is a million times better. A-Rod also has a shot at breaking the home run record and he will do it if he keeps hitting 40 or more homers. A-Rod has talent 10/10.

    The highest paid player of all time in professional sports, he has been a great baseball player and has earned his salary. When it is all done, he will be remembered as one of the all time greats in baseball history.
