During a 1994 WCW tour of Germany, officials offered Wright a spot due to a series of injuries that plagued the wrestlers on tour.
- Wright defeated Jean-Paul LeVeque (Triple H) at the 1994 Starrcade held in Nashville, TN.
- On January 26, 1995, Wright defeated "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton at the Clash of the Champions XXX in Las Vegas, NV.
- At Super Brawl V, Wright beat Paul Roma.
- During the summer of 1995, Wright finished third in New Japan's Best of the Super Junior '95. Wild Pegasus (Chris Benoit) finished first.
- Wright defeated the late Brian Pillman at the 1995 Great American Bash in Dayton, OH.
- Alex was voted Bravo Sport's 1995 Rookie of the Year.
- Dean Malenko defeated Wright at the Clash of the Champions XXXII.
- Wright turned heel in May 1997.
- On July 28, 1997, Wright pinned Chris Jericho for the WCW Cruiserweight title in Charleston, WV.
- Wright defeated the Ultimo Dragon for the WCW Television title on August 21, 1997, at Clash of the Champions XXXV.
- At Halloween Havoc '97, Wright was Queen Debra's mystery opponent for her ex-husband Steve "Mongo" McMichael. Wright was victorious.
- For a short time, Wright was under the tutelage of Debra.
- In a match with Prince Iaukea in the fall of 1997, Wright suffered a head injury and was sidelined for several months.
- Alex and manager James Vandenburg sat ringside at Starrcade '97.
- After a hiatus away from the ring, Wright returned to dance in a hilarious skit with the Nitro Girls.
- The Disco Inferno and Wright formed a tag team dubbed the Dancing Fools.
- Alex pinned David "Fit" Finlay at the 1998 Halloween Havoc in Las Vegas.
- On November 29, 1998, Wright defeated Scotty Riggs at the Brian Hildebrand Tribute show in Knoxville, Tennessee.
- Following a break to develop a new gimmick, Wright sat ringside at the April 19, 1999 episode of "Nitro" in his new Berlyn character.
- WCW took Beryln off television following the tragic shootings in Columbine believing Wright's new gimmick was too gothic.
- Upon Beryln's return, an interpreter and a bodyguard accompanied Wright.
- Berlyn defeated Hacksaw Jim Duggan with a reversed neck-breaker at the 1999 Fall Brawl in Winston-Salem, NC.
- Brad Armstrong upset Berlyn at the 1999 Halloween Havoc. After the match, Armstrong was destroyed by Berlyn's then bodyguard The Wall.
- After a long absence from television, Wright returned on the September 27, 2000 episode of "Thunder" as the Disco Inferno's partner.
- At the German PPV "Millennium Final," Wright and General Rection (Hugh Morrus) defeated Mark Jindrak and Sean O'Haire for the WCW World Tag Team title.
- On May 31, 2003, Wright defeated Chris the Bambikiller in Uelzen, Germany
