    • Alexandra: (on getting in shape for the action scenes in the movie San Andreas) My first concern was the role and the lines. For the movie I'm doing now, it's the same as the Percy Jackson movies; I'm physically active and really focusing on getting more muscle and getting in better shape because of the action required.

    • Alexandra: (on getting in shape for the nude scenes in True Detective) It was very strange because I actually did not pay that much attention to losing weight or getting in shape before that scene. I think because I was so nervous instead of just flat-out eating... I try to stay active and that kind of thing, but I didn't fixate a lot on the weight.

    • Alexandra: (on her experience filming a music video for Imagine Dragons) I'm a fan of their music, so when I got the call that Imagine Dragons was interested in me for their newest video, I was really excited! We shot in New York the day Hurricane Sandy started to hit. Our shoot got cut short, half-way through the day, because of the storm. It became a pretty memorable shoot with everyone trying to work out if we were going to be able to get enough footage before the storm hit! Luckily we did, and I think the video turned out really amazing. It was fun to be part of, and a different experience than anything I'd done before.

    • Alexandra: (on her role from New York city to LA) The transition to LA was exciting, but also difficult because it's a very different city than New York. The biggest problem for me initially was driving... I failed my road test three times and was taking the bus around LA, which isn't as easy to do as it is in New York! But I've made some amazing friends here, and finally got a license and a car, so I feel more at home now.
