Alexis will be featured in a five-episode arc on PBS’ American Family. From 1997 to 2003, Alexis reprised his role of “Skaara” from STARGATE The Movie (1994) in the current hit TV series, Stargate SG-1. Stargate The Movie and the series premiere episodes, "Children of the Gods" Parts I & II, will air this week on the SciFi Channel (Time-Warner Cable 72). The film airs Sunday, 18 April at 5:30 PM CT. "Children of the Gods" I & II, which also feature Brent Stait, are scheduled back-to-back at 6 PM Monday, 19 April.
In perhaps the most groundbreaking role of his career, Alexis portrayed the angel "Rapahel" in CBS’ flagship prime-time drama Touched by an angel. That series now airs on the Hallmark Channel, Time-Warner Cable 53, at 7 PM CT weekdays.
Alexis also starred in the Hallmark Hall of Fame CBS mini-series, STREETS OF LAREDO, as the hunted killer Joey Garza.
Alexis’ theatrical roots bring him back regularly to the public stage in Rick Najera’s "Latinologues", which has toured nationally and played to sold-out audiences at Austin’s Alley Theatre and the Austin Comedy Festival.
