Alicia: (on turning 40) There's one part of me that's reluctant, and then there's another part of me that can't wait to embrace it.
-
Alicia: I'd rather save my money on clothing and wear crap, but have the handbags and shoes. I used to buy a Ferragamo or Louis Vuitton bag every job that I got. Now I have a child and we pay for private school, so I've had to scale back!
-
Alicia:
(on what she has learned from "Jericho") I think that's what I've learned, that people can in the face of great strife really become the best that they can be. I would hope that everybody in real life in the 'what if' situation would act as brave.
-
Alicia:
(on the fans of "Jericho") To have these people who not only are watching it, but love it enough to send twenty tons of peanuts and to figure out a way to infiltrate the infrastructure of CBS.
-
Alicia: It's so neat and I always say as an actor I'm lucky to have a job and I'm lucky to get a job and then I'm lucky to keep the job and I'm lucky if anybody out there watches the job that I'm doing.
-
Alicia:
(on "Jericho") It is a show that asks questions, it raises topics that I think inspires conversation. In this respect,
Jericho brings people together.
-
Alicia: I love both: cities for the culture, sophistication, architecture, and energy and the country for it's peace and calm, for the beauty of it's nature.
-
Alicia: I am a mother who works outside the home. I love my work and I love being a mother. Both jobs require a ton of energy and work. Doing both at the same time requires a lot of delicate balancing. Some days are harder than others, but everyday is a blessing.
-
Alicia: It is wonderful and important to dream... I have always felt that an artists' path is chosen for them.
-
-
Alicia:
(to the fans of "Jericho") You have all, with your ingenuity, class and dignity, given us, the cast and crew of this remarkable show Jericho, a huge gift: the honor and privilege of being part of television history.
-
Alicia:
(about working on "Jericho") To say it is work is lying. I played every day and had an absolute blast doing so. I get to work with wonderful people. I am fed and can drink all the Coca Cola's I want... It's great!
-
Alicia: I am drawn to those types of roles where one's faith is tested...Where one must walk through fire so to speak to come out the other side having learned, having awakened, having changed...
-
Alicia: I felt I was living my father's dream for him. I also feel that my father taught me how to persevere... how to go after what you want in life, as one only has one life.
