A talented young actress, Allison Miller is relatively new to Hollywood, but has already achieved some degree of notice. Born in Italy, she traveled about the US as a child as her family followed her father's career in journalism. Her family eventually settled in Florida, where she studied dance, piano, acting and singing. Graduating from a Tallahassee high school she briefly attended the University of Florida at Gainesville, before leaving college and trying to start her acting career in L.A. Her brief resume boasts some impressive credits, from soap acting on General Hospital to playing a "suicide girl" on C.S.I. New York. She also achieved notice playing a 1920's flapper whose murder is solved by the Cold Case squad on the eponymous CBS show. During that episode she was allowed to display her singing chops by performing two blues songs. Her other televsion work includes Desperate Housewives and The Mind of Mencia. She recently has branched out into film work as well, appearing in 17 Again and in Blood: The Last Vampire.
