Allison Scagliotti-Smith: I'd like to travel and go do a movie in Paris, or something. I want to continue to tell stories that are entertaining, compelling, heart-warming or scary, and play fully developed, three-dimensional characters. I always want a challenge.

Allison Scagliotti-Smith: My mom and I joke, all the time, about how I came out of the womb performing, which is true. My family moved to Louisiana when I was just shy of turning 5, and my mom caught me, out by the pool, doing Bill Cosby impressions for the pool man. So, it was evident, early on, that I needed an outlet for my tendency to put on a show.

Allison Scagliotti-Smith: (about applying her personal style to her character on "Warehouse 13") With Claudia I had the pleasure of bringing some of my own style to her with Rock and Roll buttons, leather, and beat-up converse high tops.

Allison Scagliotti-Smith: (advice to aspiring actors) Any early involvement with school plays, a community theater, or if there's a film program over the summer that's available to you, definitely a smart thing to do, because Los Angeles, it's pretty big, there are a lot of people competing for the same thing, so the more experience you have, the better chance you'll have.

Allison Scagliotti-Smith: (on working with Saul Rubinek in "Warehouse 13") The second I met Saul we just got on like old Jewish women, and in every scene we had this really fluid chemistry together. It was a joy and a delight to work with him, I learned so much from him and I think he learned how to deal with his teenage daughter from me. We are the ultimate duo.

Allison Scagliotti-Smith: Sci-Fi was never really my niche, besides the standard devotion to Star Wars and idolizing Sigourney Weaver.

Allison Scagliotti-Smith: (in a 2006 interview) Always follow your dreams and never give up. It doesn't seem that long ago that I was in middle school drama class daydreaming about being on Broadway. Hard work will pay off.

Allison Scagliotti-Smith: (on her having great comedic timing) Comedic timing can definitely be an inherent trait but one must always flex their creative muscles and stay in comedic shape. It's important to practice your craft regardless of natural ability.

Allison Scagliotti-Smith: It totally takes me off guard when people recognize me from One Tree Hill, partially because I was only in 3 episodes. I'm always flattered, though. I can only assume that the Abby storyline was memorable, and that’s all that matters to me.

Allison Scagliotti-Smith: (if she had an object that could give her power) If I could have one artifact, I think I would like Marilyn Monroe's lipstick. I have a feeling that Marilyn Monroe's lipstick once applied would make any man fall in love with you.

Allison Scagliotti-Smith: (about being part of the school shooting episode of "One Tree Hill") I was extremely moved by what I read, mostly because the Jimmy character was someone that could be very real. Who knows how many Jimmys there have been and still are in schools everywhere? The tragedy of what becomes of him is enough to wake people up, I think.

Allison Scagliotti-Smith: (about the similarity between herself and her character on "Warehouse 13") I'm nowhere near as tech-savvy as she is but I like to think that I share some of her vitality. I like to set goals and go after them with passionate, style, so that's definitely the facet of myself that I brought to Claudia.

Allison Scagliotti-Smith: I think it's important, especially in children's television, to send a positive message to your target audience. Read It and Weep has a lot to say about being true to yourself. That's often an unfortunate dilemma for many teens.
