    • Amber: It's just, you know, tough...because you want to say that women are just like guys, and we're all equal. But we're not, we're different. And it's hard to acknowledge that. You want to believe we're all equal, but we have things we're better at, both as individuals and because of our genders. There are things that women are better at... like having children.

    • Amber: It was much easier to write Willow's stuff than Tara's. I think Chris had to go in and kind of doctor some of the Tara dialogue. I was just too...it was very difficult. I could write about her, but writing the dialogue was tough.

    • Amber: Oh, man... for twenty bucks you can sleep on me.

    • Amber: The only way that Joss could get Willow's character to that level of desperation was to take the one thing away from her that she loved which was Tara. As awful as it was, he was really trying to put the message out that Willow's problem with magic was a allegory for drug abuse.

    • Amber: If I liked girls, I'd be a very happy camper. I've gotten some wonderful letters, and they've assured me that if I decide to play for the other team, I'll have a place.

    • Amber: It's funny, because everybody on Buffy the Vampire Slayer thought I was really quiet and shy until they got to know me. Everyone thinks that I'm tall and fat and shy. I'm like, 'Well, I'm short and I'm slender and I'm very outgoing.'

    • Amber: I like to sing low, and Joss made Under Your Spell really high. I wasn't sure how it was going to work, but once we went in and recorded it, I knew it was going to be good.

    • Amber: I love meeting people. It wears you out, but it was a good experience all the way around. Everybody else's fans are really cool too, but I truly believe that out of everybody on Buffy, my fans are the coolest.

    • Amber: I've gotten the most amazing letters from young women who have come out because of the relationship that Tara and Willow had on Buffy. If you can make an impact on society in a positive way, it's the most amazing experience.

    • Amber: The day started and I knew my name and had my pants on. So far, so good. Yay!

    • Amber: I'm known as the fat lesbian chick on Buffy. Of course I mean you stand me next to an actress like Sarah and I look like I'll eat her. Wait, that didn't sound right. But, you know what I mean.

    • Amber: Very rarely do I get the opportunity to get something creepy like the bad guy. You kind of have to dig deep inside to find the weird person in yourself.

  • One of the best actresses on TV

Amber Benson is one of the best actresses on Tv, one of My favorite Actresses and Tara was my absolute favorite character on Buffy The Vampire Slayer. I was so upset when she was killed off. I haven't seen her in much else though. She was amazing on Supernatural also. which she ironicly played a good vampire on. She can convincingly act shy and weak when she wants and confident and strong when she doesn't, acting skills that she uses all of the time on Buffy The Vampire Slayer, which is one of the many many things that I love about her as an actress.moreless
  • A rising star

Amber Benson is one of those actresses that I wish I saw in more things. She was amazing as Tara on Buffy and she made Willow turning gay worth it. Her character was so sweet and nice and she really evolved in the sixth season into a stronger character. She also has an amazing singing voice as she showed in once more with feeling. Her duet with Giles is really heart breaking and shows off her skills really well. Lately I have been seeing her in some TV movies which normally have pretty weak plots, but she acts so well in them that they end up being pretty good. She brings a sense of comedy to all of her work even the dramatic roles very well and she has a really subtle type of beauty that I really like, I can't wait to see her in more projects.moreless
