i love america she is my idol and teh coolest persone evr!!!!!! she is so prety in real life and on the tv!!!!!!!! i like her on ugly betty cuz she is very funy!!!!!!!!! i wanna be just like her!!!!!!!!! she is the best actress ever ppl r crazy if they dont like her cuz shes amazzing!!!!!!! i also like those movies she waws in abot the pants they make me cry cuz they r so awesome!!!!!!!! she has cool hair brown is my favrite colour and her eyes are pretty 2 cuz they are also brown!!!!!!!!! i love you!!!!!!!!!!

I first saw her on the Disney Channel Movie "Gotta Kick it Up" and she was really good!! Then I saw her The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and she was one of the best girls on there, even though I have never watched Ugly Betty, I still think this girl is talented, she should be a bigger star, but then again I think she's on her way up there! I love the whole idea of a actress thats not stick skiny, it helps them stand out, and shes pretty so should be proud of the way she looks. Above all America is an amazingly talented actress.

Awards keep pouring down on America Ferrera's head, while she's doing what many other actresses refuse from the start: playing the ugly.



Her courage to let herself "bettified" for "Ugly Betty" was what led America Ferrera to this stunning success, as there is no easy way to get the Golden Globe, the Screen Actors Guild and the Emmy awards, in a strike. Not to mention that she succeeded to get to a halt the award winning course of the – at the moment, well established fixtures – Desperate Housewives.



Let's hope that the beautiful – actually – America Ferrera will get other parts, in more meaningful movies, as I think that she has a lot to say as a climbing actress.

America Ferrera is a one of a kind, Spanish/American actress. She's one of those down to earth actress who doesn't let fame go to her head. She had many roles but she got famous by playing Carmen in 'The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants'. I thought, personnaly that Amber Tamblyn and America had the most interesting plots and made me lewered me to watch it. After that, America got her big debute in ABC's Ugly Betty which was a 8:00-9:00 p.m. scheduel on Thursday nights before Grey's Anatomy. She's is currently filming 'The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2' due to the success of the first one and filming Ugly Betty.

Even though her first name is upon a country in North America, I would like to say America Ferrera is one talented girl or maybe lady. America was just great in Ugly Betty, and every step gets better in the comedy show. She started and not the much movies but great movies. I would like America Ferrera to keep up the talent, and keep up Ugly Betty from either ending or getting cancelled. Well maybe cancelled will NEVER happen, but keep up the great work. I think America Ferrera is a very talented and gifted actress. She knows how to play the roles of the character she plays well. She's capable of connecting into her characters which in turn draws the attention to viewers like me who enjoy her. She is amazing at what she does and keeps me watching movies and shows she features in. I fall in love with her characters so quickly because she makes them so fun to watch especially her latest appearance in her show Ugly Betty. I think America Ferrera is an ideal role model to younger girls and teens because she strives to perform her job well and doesn't strive to maintain a standard image of anorexic girls that other actresses portray. Her curves suits her beauty which is why I love watching her.

She is so cool. I love this actress. She is not really a role- model but she is alright. I thinks she is very important Latin American actress. I enjoy her works and very special emotions. I wish she was in another show other than UGLY BETTY! I wish she had a show like the one that Paula Abdul has called Hey Paula (Bravo). She should have a show called Buenos Dias America. It should be about going through her daily routine and showing where she works and all of her family and friends and every body else. YOU ROCK AMERICA. YAHOO!!!

Americca has done a really good job in Ugly Betty! her show is getting lots of good reviews. I loved her in real women have curves she showed a great name for women and she fought for what she believed in. America is a really good actress but does not have enought fame yet. i think she should get more jobs and bigger ones. After Ugly Betty she will probably get more shows and more jobs. America is a little over weight but she uses that to make good movies and shows that show you can be fat or you can be a woman just be you!!

very good actress, and ugly betty wouldnt exist without her! she plays betty, the average girl who gets a job at a fashion magazine, its a clever plot, and i do love betty. along the way she changes people at mode, to be real for a change. its cute, and yes i bet America Ferrara is probably really nice like betty also... :) i say shes great, and very entertaining, and funny. This show is awesome tossum, so check it out...and youll fall for america ferrara also!

I think she is beatiful, with her real image. But in the show when she smile like betty she is more than beautiful. How can someone be like that? Beatiful on normal day look but not so much charming, but so charming when you turn to Betty Squarez. It should be the power of real acting I think.

America Ferrara is really a talented comedic actress. I haven't seen any of her movies, but I do watch "Ugly Betty" and I love her in that role.

America Ferrera is the perfect actress for the lead role of Betty on the new drama "Ugly Betty." She plays an 'ugly' character who is beautiful on the inside and how she survives working for a fashion magazine where every other girl working there is 'plastic' apart from a few who she is friends with. She is great!

Americe Ferrera or maybe even Betty Suarez, she is a very goodlooking, smart and a wonderful personality. It shows when she performs that she is a mighty talented actress, the only surprise though is the fact that she is playing a character which does not reveal her beauty and even her originality. Despite this she plays her part beautifully, and was recently awarded for her great efforts in Ugly Betty when she won the Golden Globe Award for the best actress in a comedy role. She is truly an absolute pleasure to watch. It seems that her lead role in Ugly Betty will eventually breakout her talent and we could expect to see her in more different types of shows and maybe even on the big screen. The first time I saw America Ferrera I was inspired. I watched her as Carmen in 'The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants' and I was inspired by how beautiful she looked and how she held her own among other thin and long legged actresses. Undoubtedly she is a very talented young woman as proven by her performances and in an industry in which talentless women who are regulation hotties are widely accepted, America Ferrera is proving that there's more to life than the perfect figure.

America Ferrera was in many differnt movies, 'Gotta Kick It Up,' 'Real Women Have Curves,' and 'Sisterhood of the Traveling Pant.' Not she has her own she called, 'Ugly Betty,' which is pretty funny, seeing that America is beautiful! Her acting in her movies is amazing! She is also showing a great example to girls everywhere to love your body and cuvres, and she's not hurting skinny girls while doing it! America has both beauty and talent, I hope that she will stay happy in her career!

America Ferrerais a great actress. Not only that, but she is talented, sexy and a great role model for not just Hispanic women, but for all of them - maybe some men too!



She is currently starring in 'Ugly Betty' and is doing a fantastic job of portraying Betty Suarez. US viewers are loving her talent and the quality and effort that she puts into her work. And she seems to be happy the way she is - which is great to see. I would definetely classify her as one of the all-time greats, because she just has a certain mood or quality associated with her that just grabs the audience's attention and makes them fall in love with her.

America Ferrera was first introduced to me in the movie Real Women Have Curves. I was amazed to see her play this role so nicely. She stands out to me because not only is she Hispanic, like myself, but she is not trying to fit like the other anorexic young Hollywood females. Most Hispanic women who make it into film and television are skinny sex symbols, but Ferrera uses her talent. I was a big fan of the original Ugly Betty, the Columbian and the recent Mexican version, and they picked the best person to play Betty. America may have curves, but her talent shows that it's not only about looks. I hope to see more of her!

America Farrera fits what ever role she gets casted as. In the disney channel movie Gotta Kick It Up and ugly betty, she plays a goodhearted but funny character. She is a very good actor, and she makes the characters fell as the characters should. Some actors act like themselves at times, but she dosent most of the time. She does comedy, but would do well in drama and would make a good voice actor, as well. She is good as she is. She dosent need to change. Not one bit at all. This is acting at best, all! Dont forget it!

When I saw Ugly Betty I just knew that it was going to be a great show. America is such a convincing actress and I laughed at her characters head strong attitude. I cannot wait to see the next episodes to come. I like that her character is worried about providing for her family and she has such good work ethics. She is the diamond in the rough for that company and she really is going to make the show worth watching. I will definetly recommend this show to anyone who has doubts to watch it. I cant wait for the next show.

ok first things first. um, just wanted to say that her name is so awesome! lol. i find it funny. but anyways, america is such an amazing actress and she is not ashamed of her weight which is the best thing a person can have and she isnt like every other actor who worries about ehr weight and how they have to have thier stomachs completely flat and stuff like that.
