- Ami Foster originally tried out for the role of Punky in the popular 80's kids show "Punky Brewster." She ended up not being quite what they were looking for with this role, but they liked her so much that they came up with the part of Punky's snooty friend Margaux Kramer, and Ami ended up doing that throughout the show's 4-year duration.
