(On her hobbies)
Amy: I love to do this work out class, Body Pump. It's a cardio class that incorporates free-weights. I also love reading. My other passion is to just be. I love to relax and not worry about anything.
(Why she wants to be an American Idol)
Amy: I believe that we can all change the world in small form. Being granted a chance to have people believe in your talents enough that you can touch the world in masses, there is no telling how you can change the world. Whether it be through music, charity, or simple, self love.
(On her definition of an American Idol)
Amy: Someone with an unlimited amount of talent. A person who maintains a persona respected by the American public, with grace and elegance at all times. With a strong enough mental state to handle anything that they may face while in the public eye.
Amy: I'm addicted to reruns of Law and Order. I can't help it. I can watch it for hours.
(On her favorite judge on American Idol)
Amy: I think all the judges are great. I don't really have a favorite or least favorite. I respect them all equally.
Amy: After I auditioned for the judges, Simon smiled, started laughing and said "Amy, I don't even know how, but you're through to the next round." I was so excited.
Amy: I am vivacious, bubbly, very honest, and very real. I'm an optimistic realist.
