Amy Davidson is such an amazing actress! I know har from '8 Simple Rules'-Kerry Hennessy. Kerry and Bridget are my fav characters in this show. I didn't know that Kerry is older than Bridget (and that Amy is older than Kaley Cuoco)! She looks so much younger! Amy has just finished with filming of her new movie 'Mary Worth', but I didn't watch it.... I will!!!

I am a big fan of yours. I have watched and taped every episode with you as Kerry Hennessy in 8 Simple Rules from 2002-2005.



I am living in a residential house because I have Aspergers Syndrome, which means I get stuck on magpies, I have been watching 8 Simple Rules with family and friends.

amy davidson played kerry hennesey on 8 simple rules for 3 years. she also guest starred in the tv show so little time with mary kate and ashley olsen. recently she has been in the hit comedy malcolm in the middle which has just ended. she also guest starred in the catoon brandy and mr whiskers which stars her co-star of 8 simple rules kaley cuoco. in 8 simple rules she plays kaley cuocos younger sister but in real life amy is actually 6 or 7 years older than kaley. she is a great actor and i hope she does more in the future.

Amy Davidson did a great job playing the middle child in “8 Simple Rules” as Kerry Hennessy! I think that because of society; people automatically find blonds to be beautiful and that’s where all the attention is focused (In fact there is an episode where Kerry makes a video showing how Bridget gets all the attention because she is blond and beautiful)! Because of this Amy Davidson does not get the ratings she deserves! In my option smart is beautiful!

Amy Davidson is best known for her work in "8 Simple Rules," but she shouldn't be just considered this role for the rest of her career. She has great comedic timing that makes her perfect for prime time, and although she is breathtakingly beautiful, she is approachable in a way that most celebrities wish they could be. Her ability to go from making you smile to making you cry, as seen in the more dramatic episodes of "8 Simple Rules" and work in telemovies, proves her range is not only amazing, but bound to provide her with more mature work. It is hard to bust out of a specific role in the mind of viewers, especially on a show where you play a brainy, sweet, little sister. The thing about her is, she has the talent to be one of the greats because she can turn a stereotypical role, the whiney middle child, and make it all her own. She's amazing and with the sudden outburst of young talent currently attempting to make their mark on hollywood, I can see Amy Davidson reaching the heights of Julie Roberts or Reese Witherspoon, who after doing more risky roles, became hollywood staples.

There are not enough positive descriptives to describe Amy Davidson. She's beyond gorgeous, and although I have only seen her on, "8 Simple Rules" she is a great actress with plenty of character.If there is one star that I would ever want to meet, it would be her. I could go on, but that's it for now.

It's a shame Amy Davidson is overlooked and underrated, she has so much to offer. As a fan of her and the series, "8 Simple Rules", I felt she was getting the screw job due to Kaley Cuoco receiving more attention (and who is actually younger than Amy). Is it that hard to give these young actresses who came from a series that was overshadowed by another actress a chance to do something on their own? I think Amy could pull of her own sitcom or drama if given the chance. Yes folks she's that talented, it's just people are not giving her a chance to do so.

It's unfortunate that this young watchable beauty did not get the recognition she deserved for a job well done in her well thought out sitcom. Unfortunately we did not get to know her as well as we should have but I think that enough evidence was brought and the word is out, she rocks! I dunno if there is anything bad to say about her, she gets the job done. Also for as much talk as there was about her costar Kaley, she is super hot and way has all the goods! We need more Amy Davidson and hopefully soon.
