Because of the war in Serbia, Ana's father moved her family to Cape Town, South Africa when she was 17. She graduated from the University of Cape Town with her diploma in BA and Drama School.
Ana was one of the youngest students (age 16) accepted into the University of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade for film and theater.
Ana's mother Mila Stojanovic, was the Managing Director for several import/export companies and her father, Zoran Stojanovic, was a surveying engineer. Her aunt, Saka Sabljic, was a famous Serbian actress.
Ana joined the renowned Serbian national junior basketball team, Partisan, at the age of 10. At the age of 12 she discovered as a fashion model while playing basketball on the team.
Ana has one sibling, a brother named Nebojsa Stojanovic.
She started ballet school at age of 6.
Ana is 5'10¾" (1.80 m) tall.
