Andrea started acting when she was only 4 years old.

Andrea once interned with the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees.
Andrea appeared uncredited in the 1992 made for TV movie, To Grandmother's House We Go. Also in the movie were her Full House castmates Candace Cameron, Bob Saget, Lori Loughlin, Mary-Kate Olsen, and Ashley Olsen.
In 2000, Andrea worked as assistant to the director of Whittier College's Office of International Programs.
Andrea married Jeremy Rytky on September 1, 2002. After their wedding, they moved to England to attend graduate school at the University of York. They have one son together, Tate James. He was 6 lbs, 7 oz and was 20 inches long when he was born.

Andrea attended Whittier College and graduated in the class of 1999. Her major was English. While attending she spent a semester in Denmark. She wants to go to Grad school and pursue a master's degree in women's rights.
Andrea was supposed to be only a guest star on the show Full House. After the first few episodes the audience enjoyed her character so much that the creators decided she should stay. But she wasn't added to the cast until many seasons later.
Andrea: Once in a while the costume people would say, 'Hey, kids, take home whatever you want', I would usually just take home a pair of pants, while the other castmates would grab armloads of clothes.
Andrea: I love being a student, if I could, I'd stay in school forever.
Andrea: I want to be a writer someday.
Andrea: My character (on Full House) was obnoxious, had stinky feet and wore things like purple tights and a yellow top. I hated the clothes.
