Even though Andrea Lewis is in her twenty's, and plays younger roles, she doesn't do them half that bad. Her probably most popular role is Hazel, on Degrassi: The Next Generation, where she doesn't get a lot of screentime. She, however, has been in other movies, such as Cadet Kelly, and also has a singing career (her CD "Float Away" came out not so long ago). To me, she has the potential, but she just hasn't had the opportunity. Maybe if she were to have more screentime on Degrassi, or more dramatic and challenging roles, people would think better of her, but that's just me. Andrea seems like a total sweetheart, and I wouldn't mind meeting her.
Yes, she's a good actress, but, eh, she's just good. There was one scene in Degrassi: The Next Generation where I was watching her and I was just like: "Wow. What crappy acting." That one scene, where she found out something about Jimmy, told to her by a teacher, and she was just standing there, almost crying (it looked too fake) and she just kept saying, "No! Noo! No!" But that was only one scene, and all actors have their bad days. But I haven't really paid attention to her acting much, so it's wrong of me to judge her.
I love Andrea & I DEFINITLEY love degrassi.
She deserves more air time on the show - it needs a few episodes revolving around her, "hazel & jimmy" are the perfect couple..a match made in heaven =) i also liked her in Cadet Kelly. Great actress & great singer. I met her & shes soo nice =)
