Andrew Bryniarski is a hard-edged American actor who has appeared in a number of films, often choosing some of the most grisly and dark roles. Born on February 13, 1969. He is of Polish, German and Irish descent. Bryniarski grew to be six foot six and became a professional bodybuilder. It was this experience that made him go looking for a career in Hollywood. His acting career began in 1990 when he took small roles in some action films, including Dragonfight and Necessary Roughness. He immediately attracted attention do to his size and physique, and he began to land roles in more significant films alongside some major Hollywood names, including Hudson Hawk, Batman Returns, and Streetfighter. He went on to more popular films like Pearl Harbor and Scooby Doo. He has a certain cult following because of his role as Leatherface in the remake of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. He has also taken minor roles on a number of TV shows, including Burn Notice and Conan.
