Andrew Keegan is an American actor who first rose to national prominence in the lead role of Joey Donner in the 1999 hit film, 10 Things I Hate About You. Born in 1979, Keegan was raised in Los Angeles and his unique looks can be attributed to the fact that he is half-Colombian. The actor earned his first breaks on television with a number of guest spots on a range of hit television shows, ranging from Full House to Moesha in the 1990s. Keegan eventually became a regular on the sitcoms, 7th Heaven and Party of Five, before landing a spot in 10 Things I Hate About You. Though the movie was a launching pad for breakout stars Julia Stiles and the late Heath Ledger, Keegan also earned praise and began to take on more serious television roles later in his career. Since 2005, the actor has earned guest spots on more adult-oriented programs, such as House and CSI: NY and has started to test his talents behind the screen as a producer.
