Andy Ackerman

Andy Ackerman is the youngest person ever to win an Emmy for technical achievement in editing, he won it at the age of 24.

Ackerman gained much acclaim for directing the sitcom Seinfeld. Following his success, he went on to direct Seinfeld alum Julia Louis-Dreyfus in both her current hit show The New Adventures of Old Christine and her short-lived series Watching Ellie. He is also directing Rules of Engagement which stars Patrick Warburton, who played the recurring character David Puddy on Seinfeld.
