    • Ang: (on his film Brokeback Mountain) I believe everybody has a flip side: the cowboy with the homo, the tough guy with the sensitive... Love is more complicated than our culture categorizes it. Everybody is a universe.

    • Ang: I did a women's movie, and I'm not a woman. I did a gay movie, and I'm not gay. I learned as I went along.

It's made for the worldwide audience, you have to please so many people, and the business men start running the movies rather than artists.

    Great director, I have seen some of his works and they are very well done and he really puts up his best to make us a good impression about the film he is directing, he is simply underrated and underappreciated, but he is a good director, and I really like some of his works. He is cool.
