A graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Anjul Nigam Anjul Nigam has been added to the cast of CBS' Hallmark Hall of Fame original movie BACK WHEN WE WERE GROWNUPS, toplined by Faye Dunaway, Peter Fonda, Jack Palance and Blythe Danner and directed by Ron Underwood (CITY SLICKERS). Based on Anne Tyler's novel, the movie centers on a 53-year-old single mother and grandmother (Danner). Nigam will play the husband of the woman's biological daughter (Ione Skye). Nigam recently appeared as one of four leads in 20th Century Fox's THE FIRST $20 MILLION IS ALWAYS THE HARDEST for director Mick Jackson (LA STORY and THE BODYGAURD) and producers Harold Ramis and Trevor Albert (GROUNDHOG DAY). He plays the character of "Nurse Manoj Nakshi" on the ABC medical drama MDs. Upcoming is the feature comedy SPEAKING OF SEX for director John McNaughton (WILD THINGS and MAD, DOG AND GLORY). He has additionally starred as one of the lead "bad guys" in the ABC miniseries, TOM CLANCY'S NETFORCE and starred as the best friend/side-kick to the lead in Showtime's SILVER STRAND.
