Anna is one of the most talented and under-rated people in the business. She's an inspiration to anyone who wants to make a living working in the theatre or in any other aspect of showbiz. Her work on The West Wing was flawless. Nancy McNally is one of my favorite characters, and that is all because of her performance. I'm looking forward to her latest book, and will watch her in everything she does. Oprah hit the nail on the head; women everywhere should know Anna Deavere Smith.
