    • Anna: (on working with Zoie Palmer who plays Lauren in Lost Girl) One thing a lot of people don't know about Zoie is she is hilarious. Like Zoie is very funny. And she has these funny moments on the show, but Lauren tends to be a pretty intense character a lot of the time. But Zoie herself is so funny that there have been times we've had to cut because I can't stop laughing. She has the ability to laugh, joke and they call action and she pulls it all together. I can't pull it all together because she makes me laugh too much. So I think we just have natural chemistry. She is a very funny person. She is really warm. She is a really generous actor and supportive. She cares a lot about the show. She loves playing Lauren and she puts everything into it.

    • Anna: (on Bo and Lauren's relationship in season 3 of Lost Girl) I think it's an important relationship to explore — and to explore fully. Because, you know, in the first season, we had the love triangle. Bo was with Dyson for a while. And I feel like this part of the triangle deserves that same exploration and emotional weight. But when Zoie [Palmer] and I first got the script, we were both like, "Oh. OK. OK, wow. So we're like together now!" I think we were a little surprised that it happened so soon, but very glad, too. The story has worked really well. They have needed this time to explore their feelings for each other, to see what could really happen between them.
