Anne Welles was raised by Peace Corps parents in exotic locations such as Turkey and Yemen. She was always an aritist, dabbling in painting, drawing, photography, and poetry from the time she could pick up a pencil. Anne holds a B.A. in Studio Art from Old Dominion University, and an M.S. in Art Therapy from Eastern Virginia Medical School. After practicing as a therapist for four years, and staying at home to raise her three boys for five years, Anne began acting in 1998 on a whim. She found it was not only something she felt passionately about doing, but was also something she had aMore talent for. Anne studied acting at the Beverly Hills Playhouse for three and a half years, and has appeared in numerous independent films, commercials, and television shows. Her breakout acting performance in the independent featurette "Falsehood" earned her the "Best Actress in a Short Film" award at Methodfest 2002, and has helped to earn that same film several other festival awards. Anne traveled to the Cannes Film Festival this year to attend the screening of "Falsehood."
