Annie Potts

In 1994 Annie was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for Love & War.

Annie has been nominated for two SAG awards. In 1999 and 2000 she was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series for Any Day Now.

In 1979 Annie was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture Acting Debut-Female for Corvette Summer.

Annie received her Bachelor in Fine Arts degree (in theater arts) from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri.

Annie is a graduate of Franklin-Simpson High School in Franklin, Kentucky.

Potts continues as a dedicated alumnus and Board Member of Stephens College, she is currently a visiting professor of Drama at the college.
