Annie Wersching

Annie appeared in a commercial for Toyota.

Annie moved from Chicago, Illinois to Los Angeles, California in 2001.

Wersching, who is known for playing Amelia Joffe in the soap General Hospital, also auditioned for parts in the soap dramas All My Children and The Young and the Restless but did not get those roles.

Annie often visits her hometown St. Louis, Missouri to see her mother, whom she is very close with. Her mother is a flower shop owner.

After her graduation from the university, Annie became friends with Gloria Loring of Days of Our Lives while going on a musical tour.

Annie's television debut performance was in an episode of Star Trek: Enterprise.

Annie's theatrical credits include A Class Act, Anything Goes, Seventeen, Evita, Common Rooms, Greenshow Royal Feaste, A Christmas Carol, Do I Hear Waltz?, And They Called It Ireland, Nunsense, How to Succeed in Business, and As You Like It.

Annie can speak the following dialects: Irish, Standard British, Southern, Slavic, and Cockney.

As a child, Annie toured with the St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers and joined in Irish dance competitions.

Annie sang as part of the Pasadena Playhouse Cast for the CD soundtrack of Do I Hear Waltz.

Annie is 5'7" (1.70 m).

Annie Wersching was featured in the major motion picture Bruce Almighty alongside Jim Carrey. Her other film credits include The Showdown, Veronica's Veil, Return Address, and Birdkeeper. Annie also played Kate Fisher in the 2007 made-for-TV movie Company Man.

Her hobbies include; Irish dancing, tin whistling, tennis, horseback riding, softball and swimming.

Annie Wersching has a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from Millikin University, Chicago. She is featured among the alumni on spotlight (Alumni Performances section) in the university's website.

Annie's special skills include burping on cue, horseback riding, playing the tin whistle, singing soprano (with lower belt), contorting her face, swimming, and playing tennis and softball.
