His father, Antonio Sabāto Sr., is also an actor and brought the family to Hollywood when Antonio was just 12. They lived in Beverly Hills, and Antonio attended Beverly Hills High. They lived in several sections (primarily in Beverly Hills), but when Antonio was 16 his family moved to a trendy part of Los Angeles known as Marina Del Rey.
