Anwar Robinson

Anwar Farid Robinson is a singer/teacher. He works at a school in East Orange. He used to work at Mable G. Holmes in Elizabeth.

He placed seventh on the fourth season of American Idol. Anwar started singing when he was eight years old. He graduated from Westminster Choir College of Rider University in Princeton, NJ. He is an accomplished pianist,a junior high school music teacher and a member of local group The Perfect Combination.

Anwar released his debut album of cover songs entitled "The Truth (About Love)" and is currently working on his second album.
