Archie is one AWESOME actress...She is one of the MAJOR reasons my hubby and I LOVE this show. Each week it seems like her acting amount and ability is shown and she makes this show stunning. Bottom line, she ROCKS!!!
She deserves a "Best Supporting Actress" nomination and award. If it were not for her strong character and acting skills in this show,I would have never had the oppertunity to really see what a GREAT actress she is. Plus, through her role in the "Good Wife," it has made me seek out other movies that she has been in. You GO GIRL, you're the BOMB!! I can't wait to continue to watch you and your character in this show and I know the more scenes they give you the more people will realize what a wonderful and talented actress you are. You TOTALLY deserve recognition for you slendid acting abilities and I sure hope you get it.
Her character on The Good Wife, Kalinda Sharma, really keeps you guessing with her ambiguous sexuality. Just when you thought you had it figured out, in the finale of the first season, she throws a curve ball. It is a good character that plays against type, the spiritual East Indian, and is instead a tough Amazon who likes to get rough and play with guns. Sometimes she acts like one of the boys, really at home with the tough cops and detectives she works with, but she is not above flirting with them a little to get her way. She has you wondering if these really macho guys are her type, and some of the lawyers hit on her, but they don't seem tough enough to handle her. Or is she into women? It keeps you guessing. Even when the question is answered, on the first season finale, you are still left wondering, maybe it is a ploy, maybe she is playing the prosecuter. Or maybe hostile situations are what gets her engine reving?
