Art Metrano, also known as Arthur M Metrano, is an American actor. He was born on September 22, 1936, in Brooklyn, New York, USA. His made his film debut with the movie Rocket Attack U.S.A. in 1961. Since then he has played various roles in many movies like Norma (1970), Breathless (1983), Teachers (1984), and How Stella Got Her Groove Back (1998). His solo play called The Accidental Comedy earned him a lot of fame and recognition. In the early 1970's, he was in the limelight for his appearance in a talk show, The Tonight Show, in which he appeared as a magician performing weird stunts like making his fingers jump from one hand to another. He married Rebecca Chute Metrano in 1972. In 1989, due to an accident at home, he broke his neck in six places and has been using a wheel chair since then. He supports a project for spinal cord injury to help suffering people buy supplies and make a living.
